TWO FORKS, TWO KNIVES, ONE PLATE

Have you ever watched Lady and the Tramp? If I ask you what is the
first thing that comes to mind, you probably would say the scene
where they are sharing a plate of spaghetti.

There is no doubt about it, food is romantic. It amplifies the senses
and fulfills one of our deepest needs. There are certain types of
food that are romantic by nature: chocolate, strawberries and small
pastries for example. Then there are foods that are romantic because
of the atmosphere: surrounded by candles, elegant music playing in
the background, or served on a linen covered table with a vase of
fresh flowers.

Who would have thought that a plate of spaghetti could be so
romantic? But Lady and the Tramp showed us that sharing one plate is
a perfect way to be united with one another. Have you ever eaten off
the same plate as your love? How often do you feed each other? When
was the last time you shared a strand of spaghetti or a baby corn
and ended in a kiss?

Everyone has to eat. But not everyone has to have their own plate.

A husband wakes up at home with a huge hangover.
He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees
is a couple of aspirins and a glass of water on the side table.
He sits down and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and

Broke some crockery, puked in the hall, and gave yourself a black eye
when you stumbled into the door". Confused, the man asks,
"So, why is everything in order and so clean, and
breakfast is on the table waiting for me?
I should expect a big quarrel with her!"
His son replies, "Oh, that! Mom dragged you to the bedroom,
and when she tried to take your clothes n shoes off,
you said,

I know some people actually come up with certain hand signals to
say 'I love you' silently. I have heard of those that will do so by
touching their finger to the tip of their nose. Some will raise one
finger, followed by four and then three - signifying the number of
letters in that special phrase. Of course you can point to your eye,
then your heart and then your sweetheart to get the message across.

Once you have mastered the 'I Love You' you can move on to more
difficult phrases by tugging on your ear, tapping your chin, rubbing
your temple and other signals. If pitchers and coaches can do it,
why can't lovers?

1. Don't surprise your date with a hatchet movie, meal, etc. on the first

A Morning Break
As he walked through the office door, he noticed her sitting there at his desk, on the phone with a client. She had her hair tucked neatly behind her head in a perfect bun and her black-rimmed glasses matched her business dress. He was always impressed when he watched how she maneuvered and persuaded potential clients to trust in their firm. She was using the same charismatic charm over the phone this morning. The tone in her voice fluttered as well. When she said thank you, he was certain she would set up a meeting before she hung up the phone.
He could tell she was pleased with herself by the way she looked at him as she moved the chair so she faced him. He noticed how her eyes came to life when she realized he had been standing there, watching her. She tilted her head back and her eyes met his. The chemistry between them suddenly ignited.
He found his way to the pin that kept her hair in place and pulled it out. The soft black curls sprang free and fell neatly into place around her face. He slid the glasses off her face and laid them on the table beside the desk. He cupped her light brown face with his manly hands and brought his lips down to join hers. She received his kiss, opened her luscious lips, and invited his tongue to invade her mouth. They kissed with a desperation that longed for more.
He gently lifted her to a standing position to deepen his passion filled kiss. Her arms found their way around his neck as he lifted her body off the ground. Building Up Anticipation
